About the Organization
Imengine bv, headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, develops tailor-made software for health-care and education. Its flagship product, Medbook, is an established ePortfolio system for competency tracking, assessment, and continuous professional development.
Medbook is used by universities, hospitals, and professional associations across Belgium and the Netherlands to manage clinical training, EPAs (Entrustable Professional Activities), and reflective learning. The company’s mission is to simplify digital learning environments while maintaining the highest standards of data security and interoperability.

Work Package Overview
Medbook provides the digital space where students, mentors, and teachers can connect, reflect, and track progress throughout the project. Working closely with the partner universities, the team designs and adapts the platform to make it easy to record learning goals, upload evidence, and receive feedback. The platform supports every stage of the journey: from preparing job applications, to starting a new job, to building ongoing professional skills. Medbook also helps the project collect anonymous data to understand how digital portfolios improve confidence, mentorship, and career readiness.
